The great biodiversity found on the isthmus will be incorporated into the museum's landscape design, created by the globally acclaimed Edwina Von Gal & Company. Ms. Von Gal and her team produce landscapes recognized for their clear but free structures, which make them an ideal complement to the design of the Biomuseum.
The building and its grounds are bound to become an icon in Panama that will attract hundreds of thousands of visitors annually.
The museum is situated at the entrance to the Amador Causeway and visible from Old Town, the Bridge of the Americas, and aboard the ships on either end of their passage across the Panama Canal.
