Panama City is swiftly growing and becoming more modern. The launch of the Metro's Line One revolutionizes how people can get from one side of the city to the other, making it a welcoming destination for visitors.

On its first flight to Panama, a Sunwing aircraft landed at 10:50 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Scarlett Martinez airport in Río Hato, located in the province of Coclé, with 174 Canadian passengers aboard. 

After 38 months of construction and integrated tests, on Sunday, April 6th the general public will be able to ride Line One of the Panama Metro, a modern system of mass transportation that will provide security and faster commutes for all its users.


The MetroBus official Twitter account reported that new MetroBus routes feeding into the Metro will begin on April 7th. 

At the Azuero International Fair (FIA), the main commercial and economic showcase for the provinces of Herrera and Los Santos, visitors can buy everything from ornamental and medicinal plants to the latest car model.
