From March 26 to 29, 2014, Panama will host the XII Central American and Caribbean Conference for State Decentralization and Local Development (CONFEDELCCA), under the theme "Decentralization, Development of Local Tourism, and Public Private Partnerships". 

A group of the best chefs in the region will gather in Panama to cook an enormous paella to feed 500 people, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the construction of the Panama Canal and in an attempt to break a world record.

Panama took advantage of their carnival, considered one of the best in the region, to reveal a slice of their diverse folklore to the tourists visiting the country. 

Fifteen Panamanian companies, together with the Tourism Authority, are marketing products in Panama's pavilion at the ITB in Berlin, the world's largest tourism trade fair.

Everyone's talking about the Carnival in Panama, thanks to the participation of more than eleven international media groups who traveled to our country to cover the MetroCity Carnival and at various sites nationwide, interviewing along the way several of the guest artists and figures who made an appearance during the festivities.
