The International Fair of Tourism, Fitur 2012, was accomplished from 18 to 22 January in Madrid.It has opened the season of the great  international fairs of tourism in Europe.Despite the crisis in the Spanish economy the 32° edition of Fitur exceeded all organizers’ expectations.There were about 210 thousand visitors with a growth of 2% in relation to 2011.

In spite of the reduction of 9% in the exhibition area, Fitur  gathered about 10,4 thousand companies and 7 thousand journalists from  166 countries, occupying an area of 74,3 thousands square metres.Brazil took place in the event with  a stand of 889 square metres with 54 cooperative members, 25 institutions and 29 operators, in Pavillion  4.
