Panama and me city tour, may 1, 2012

With a group of 17 tourists who visited us from Chile, Argentina and Uruguay, the tour began at 8:00 am from the Hotel Plaza Paitilla. We went to the Old Town, where they could observe sites like Tomas Herrera Square, the Cathedral, the Emerald Museum and others, before heading to the Visitors Center at Miraflores Locks,  observing the boats that passed through them and learning a little about the importance of this sea pathway.

Afterwards, we toured the craft market where they bought some souvenirs made by our Guna women, which   highlights with hand-made ethnic crafts. The tour was completed with a visit to the famous Amador Road that allows visitors to hike outdoors in a natural setting with ocean views, framed by The Bridge of the Americas.
