Car: Take the Panama-Colon highway until the town of Chilibre. Then take the Transístmica highway towards the city of Colón, and when you reach Sabanitas, turn right and follow the road as if you were going to Portobelo. There is just a small sign at the entrance and is easy to miss. Look for a Rey supermarket on the right, and the entrance is just after it. When you arrive in Portobelo, continue straight until you reach a fork in the road where you will see a Paris Tropical pizzeria. Turn right to go to Nombre de Dios. After around 45 minutes you will pass a bridge over the Nombre de Dios River and shortly after you will reach the same named town.

Bus: From the Albrook terminal in Panama City, take either an express service or normal bus to the city of Colón along the Transisthmic highway. Get off in the town of Sabanitas, next to the Rey supermarket, and transfer to a bus to Nombre de Dios (buses also depart from the city of Colón). Buses pass through Portobelo at 9:00 AM and every hour until 3:00 PM, with the next one at 4:30 PM and the last at 5:45 PM.
