Cerro Azul

Just an hour outside the city is Cerro Azul, a hill whose altitude at 1,000 meters above sea level provides a pleasant climate for many country vacation homes. The view of the city and lake from different angles is simply unforgettable. In next-door Chagres National Park, you can go rafting down the Chagres River and take in the nature of the rainforest in all its glory.


This region is located in the mountains of the district of Panama, within Chagres National Park.

How to arrive

  • Car: Take the highway that leads to the Tocumen Airport, but do not turn off there. At the 24 de Diciembre intersection, turn left and go 1.8 km until you see the Cerro Azul entrance on the left.Follow this road until you start to see the country homes, and go further for a drive through an enjoyable landscape and setting.
