Business contacts tripled at fair

Some 4,500 business contacts were registered during the third International Tourism Expo.

The event, organized by the Panama Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (CCIAP), in conjunction with the Panama Chamber of Tourism (CAMTUR) and supported by the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), received approximately 3,500 visitors.

 

The International Tourism Expo 2012 fair space covered 2,000 square meters and included 141 exhibit booths for 120 business who came from 14 countries in America, Asia and the Caribbean, such as Argentina, the Bahamas, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, United States, India, Indonesia, Panama, Paraguay, Puerto Rico and St. Martin.

"In the Panama Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture, we are more than pleased with these results, which once again demonstrate the importance of the Panamanian tourism conglomerate," commented Irvin A. Halman, President of the Panama Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture.
