The CCIAP, ATP and CAMTUR Sign Cooperation Agreement

At the office of the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), a cooperation agreement was signed between this government entity, the Panama Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (CCIAP) and the Panama Chamber of Tourism (CAMTUR).

The ATP, CAMTUR and CCIAP, with the purpose of promoting tourism in Panama, renewed their commitment to annually hold the International Tourism Expo, whether in Panama City or any other region of the country that these three actors select. The administrators and executors of the tourism fair will be CAMTUR and CCIAP, and the ATP will continue to support its successful operation.

With this agreement, the ATP commits to satisfy the necessary legal obligations and to allocate $500,000 dollars over a period of five years, intended to successfully hold the International Tourism Expo and generate business in the tourism sector, by visiting internationally recognized sources of tourists and tourism wholesalers, promoting the event world-wide and conducting general logistics for the event.
