On Tuesday, October 9, President Ricardo Martinelli received a courtesy visit by American boxing promoter Don King, who thanked all Panamanians for their hospitality.

This meeting, held in the Office of the President, was also attended by boxing commentator Juan Carlos Tapia, the Vice President of the World Boxing Association (WBA), Jesus Mendoza and Don King's lawyer, Antonio González.
