Panama triumphs in another International Tourism Fair

Panama was present at one of the most important tourism fairs worldwide, the IMEX 2012, which took place from October 9 to 11 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States.

The Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) promoted our country as a destination for events, conferences and conventions, as well as for incentive trips.

Along with the ATP, there were representatives of 11 companies based in Panama, from hotels to tour operators, as well as Copa Airlines, who unveiled their new flight from that U.S. city.

Octavio Abad, coordinator of international fairs for the ATP, said that during these three days of IMEX, over 40 appointments were consolidated with companies dedicated to incentive, conference and convention tourism, which is daily growing in our country due to the attractions of shopping, free tourist insurance and air connectivity offered in Panama.
