Cruise ships arrive at Panamanian ports

More than 15 cruise ships will dock at Colón 2000 and the port of the Panama Canal this month.

There are three major arrivals, the first by Holland America Zuiderdam, with capacity for 1,848 passengers, which will arrive in intervals on November 5, 15 and 26.

Two ships from the Princess line will also arrive: 'Island Princess', with capacity for 1,974 tourists, and 'Coral Princess', with space for more than 2,000 tourists, which will be reaching Colón sometime between the 16th and 26th of this month.

Another cruise ship whose arrival is much awaited is the 'Infinity' by Celebrity Cruises, with 2,170 passengers aboard and docking dates set for November 3 and 11.

Where one arrives, another departs. Such is the case of 'Grandeur' by Royal Caribbean. This cruise picked up passengers throughout Latin America and will set sail again on November 18, 25 and 30. The second ship to lift anchor from Colón 2000 is the 'Horizon' by Pullmantur, on Friday, November 30.
