'The Rock', as he is nicknamed, is working on "The Hero", a program like a reality show where non-celebrities will become immersed in a high-risk global adventure.
Arianne Benedetti, director of the Panama Film Commission, revealed to Ey! that this television proposal will be filmed in several countries that Johnson and the production team will select, and one of those paradises will be Panama.
“We are very pleased with the results that we are seeing from these projects. It is very beautiful to see that big producers and Hollywood personalities have their eyes set on Panama,” said the director.
The production company Electus International is in charge of producing and distributing the material and will set up here in mid-February. Filming of the project could extend into early March.
“They come to Panama to record, but the reality show competition will take place in another country,” said Benedetti.
It is noteworthy that Johnson will be the executive producer, along with his producing partner Dany García, and that the show will also feature the online presence of 'The Rock', who is eagerly followed by more than 9.1 million fans through Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
In "The Hero", three teams from three different continents will face challenges that will test their courage and ability to become great leaders.
