Visit Pedasí promotion will extend through January

For the amount of $325,000 dollars, the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) continues a promotional campaign called "Discover your Interior", focused on promoting tourism in key sites in the country's rural provinces, such as Bocas del Toro, Chiriquí, Coclé and Los Santos, that have been positioned as attractive beach and mountain destinations.

Pedasí, on the southern tip of the Azuero Peninsula, is a destination that promotes its folklore, scenic beauty and beach and aquatic sports.

As part of the campaign, which will run until January 31, a dozen hotels and hostels are offering packages for 2 nights/3 days or 4 nights/5 days of relaxation or adventure.

Companies offering interesting activities like spa sessions or ecotourism trips to Cañas Island and Iguana Island have also joined the campaign, which is being advertised on radio and in local newspapers.

Another attraction that is being promoted as a product of Pedasí is the traditional cuisine of the region, representative of the province of Los Santos.

The ATP has also printed brochures with stunning photographs and images of the attractions of Pedasí, a truly charming village.
