The Queen of the Sea Festival reacted to the announcement, “I am proud of my Taboga roots and pleased to have been chosen to represent this fun cultural event.” Vissuette will be present at all the events to take place in Taboga. “So I want to invite everyone to come and participate in this colorful and cheerful beach event,” added the beautiful Vissuette.
She hopes that many Panamanians and foreign tourists will attend the beach party on the 26th and 27th in Taboga. Visitors will enjoy the evening musical entertainment by well-known national artist Samuel Archer and his Caribbean Sweet Band, and the performance of the event headliner Emilio Regueira, recognized as the national singer and winner of a Latin Grammy and multiple nominations, during the day on Sunday the 27th. A variety of additional recreational activities will take place during these two days, ranging from a ceviche contest to artistic attractions, beach games, treasure hunt simulation, educational talks and folk performances, to name a few.
The main goal of the Taboga Sea Festival event is to actively promote the island's events and programs that are geared towards sustainable tourism development on Taboga. The intention is for regional and international visitors to view the island as a treasure to be discovered on the tourist map, appreciate the value of the island's cultural and culinary traditions and contribute towards sustainable development.
