Guararé starts its festivities

THEIR ANNIVERSARY IS JANUARY 21

Residents of Guararé have already begun to enjoy the festivities in commemoration of the 133rd anniversary of the foundation of the district on January 21. The activity began yesterday with a caravan that left the main square of Plaza de Toros at 5:00 pm. On this anniversary date, Johana Iturralde Díaz was chosen as Miss January 21 and queen of the celebration.

Several local artists are expected to come to provide live entertainment for the party. There will also be contests staged.

The schedule of activities for the anniversary:

Friday 18th: Coronation (8:00 p.m.). Artistic performance by Jaime Winter and Eric Espino (former contestants on Sing With Me), Os Almirantes and many more. 

Saturday 19th: Horse ride (1:00 p.m.). First National Competition of Montuna Polleras in child category (4:00 p.m.). Fantasy floats parade (8:00 p.m.). Dance with music by Osvaldo Ayala.

Sunday 20th: Bullfight. Tractor Parade. First National Cumbia Gathering (4:00 p.m.).  Parade of traditional floats (8:00 p.m.). Dance with music by Darío Pitty.

Monday 21st: Day of the district. Parade of floats in luxury dress.
