Reinventing Pinocchio

Date: March 9 to April 21, 2013 (Saturday and Sunday)

Venue: ABA Theater, Panamerican Highway, in front of S/M Riba Smith, Panama City

Synopsis:

Based on the traditional “Pinocchio” by Carlo Collodi, this modern twist on the classic tale takes us by the hand to meet a scientific Gepetto and a Pinocchio made of recycled products, though still an android puppet who very much wants to be a real boy, innocent, naughty and mischievous.

Kids will learn that they should ignore strangers, that parents always want the best for their children and that telling lies that can get them into a lot of trouble. Through songs and dances, the play sends a beautiful message of love for parents.

Cast: Imanol Guerra as Gepetto, Rosa María Fernández, Luis Melgar, Ninibeth Rios, Nathalie Zisópulos, José Daniel Franco and Manuel Yau as Pinocchio.
