Westin Panama seeks to capture the growing executive market of the East Coast, and has thus become the first hotel to establish itself in the area.

Sara Pardo, general manager of the hotel, explained that it has seven event halls, a suite, a spa, three corporate meeting rooms and a fitness center, among other amenities.

The hotel opened its doors 15 days ago and according to Julissa Fernández, the hotel's Marketing Director, it has from 40% to 60% of its occupancy already filled.

She preferred not to reveal the rates, assuring that they are first customized upon negotiations with the clients.

The hotel was built with an investment of $40 million and sited in a strategic location, just 15 minutes from the Tocumen International Airport and in a sector with many   headquarters of large corporations.
