Mango Festival

Date: May 16 to 19, 2013

Location: Antón District, Coclé Province

The town of Río Hato is known for its nearby white sand beaches, but this interesting community seeks to also showcase their idealized customs and add yet another attraction:

mangos. The idea for the Mango Fair was born from the prevalence and commercial value of this fruit.

Thus, the fair will stress the nutritional value of mango and highlight its easy consumption, as the fruit can be eaten directly from the trees. It also looks to raise awareness and value among children and adults in their participation in the planting and harvesting of mango trees.

Come learn all the ways you can enjoy this fruit with the exhibitions and sales of dishes featuring fresh mango at the fair.
