The magnificent waters that surround the isthmus of Panama have been known for long decades for their abundance of life made just for sport and deep sea fishing, and for catch and release fishing sports. Here we have dozens of places frequently visited by sea lovers among them the rich and famous and our waters have been the site for a good number of sailfish and marlin fishing records. The waters of the Gulf of Panama, the Las Perlas Archipelago, the Gulf of Montijo and the waters surrounding Coiba Island as well as the Gulf of Chiriquí and Piñas Bay in Darién are widely known for their abundant biodiversity.
