This 11th of April, the district of Boquete has its 100 year anniversary since its foundation and for that reason the residents of this zone prepare themselves to receive thousands of visitors. This is a huge event in Boquete called the Fair of the Flowers and Coffee. This is the XXXIX version of the fair and it initiates this 13th of January.

 

The Fair in this, its Centennial version, awards honor to the foundation of the district and will be host to more than 250 thousand different species of flowers. This show will span more than 3 hectares of land, to offer its greatest splendor to thousands of visitors.

 

The organizers of the event informed that this year the activity will include new attractions such as the addition of pathways in the fair which will allow visitors to have a richer tour of the flowers.  Visitors will be able to walk among these paths and enjoy the scenery. The attendance this year is expected to be of more than 50 thousand visitors.
