COPA Airlines continues adding new destinies and flights departing from Panama. The Panamanian airline now connects from Tocumen directly to Toronto, Canada four times per week. Panama is a known destination in Canada and statistical numbers demonstrate the arrival of 42.128 Canadians between January and November 2010, with represents a growth of 25% from the previous year. COPA Airlines also announced that they have 4 new weekly flights to Porto Alegre, Brazil and a similar frequency of flights to Nassau Bahamas.
COPA Airlines transported the past year more than 5,2 million passengers through the hub of the Americas which proves that tourism is a great sector and market influencing Panama`s booming economy.
Top executives of the airline indicate that the addition of new flights is a determining factor which reaffirms their leadership in the region.
