Panama will host energy forum

This October 1st and 2nd, Panama looks to receive the 22nd Regional Forum on Sustainable Energy, an event organized by the Energy and Environment Partnership with Central America (EEP).

María Eugenia Salabarría, managing director of the EEP, based in El Salvador, met with representatives of the National Environmental Authority (ANAM) and the National Energy Secretariat (SNE) to explain "the terms of reference and the logistics to organize the 22nd Forum".

Salabarría explained that the EEP is supported by the Finland Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Austrian Development Cooperation, and the European Union.

Around 300 people are expected to attend, among them government officials of SICA countries, regional and international organizations, and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs).
