The Venezuelan-Panamanian consortium, comprised of the companies RPL and CSI, received the order to proceed with construction of the stretch of coastal highway on the upper coast of Colón that will connect the villages of Cuango and Santa Isabel

The arrival of cruise ships continues to be important for Panamanian tourism in recent years. In 2013, the economic impact of this tourist segment once again contributed more than $45 million dollars to the national economy. Panamanian ports annually receive an average of 135 cruise ships.

A visit to El Valle de Antón without seeing any orchids is unforgivable for residents of this tourist sector that houses the largest variety of these plants and protects them in a conservation center administered by El Valle peasants, under the guidance of a Japanese group.

After the road is built to the El Caño Archaeological Park in the province of Coclé, it will take less than five minutes to reach this important historical site from the Pan-American Highway, thus facilitating access for the over 2,000 tourists who visit the site monthly.

At least 100 cyclists will gather in our country to participate in the 5th Panama Off Road Mountain Bike 2014. The demanding mountain bike race will take place from February 6th to 8th in the capital and western sector of Panama.
