Serracín explained that the weather allowed thousands of visitors, local and foreign, to attend the event and view the 39 new varieties of flowers, among other new attractions. The organizer also highlighted the participation of the 300 odd exhibitors who attracted the attention of visitors from the first days of the fair.
As the festival came to a close on Sunday, January 20, Serracín extended an invitation to another event that will take place soon. “From March 22 to 31 we will have an exhibit of orchids in these same facilities,” said the chairman of the board, further commenting that every year they look for ways to improve and offer new attractions for the visitors.
The mayor of Boquete, Manolo Ruiz, stated that the district will leave its doors open to tourism development and new investments.
