Panama to host Tourism Security in the Americas Conference

Ranked as one of the most recommended tourist destinations in the world, Panama continues to pave its way onwards by putting on large events for the tourism industry.

On this occasion, it is one of the most prestigious congresses in the entire hemisphere. From May 13 to 17, more than 500 specialists and businessmen from across the region will gather in the country to attend the Second Conference of Tourism Security in the Americas. 

The Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), through one of its spokesmen, Néstor Ríos from the Institutional Security Department, told the Panama News Agency (ANP) that this tourism event will feature over 15 lecturers from different countries, who will speak on "The Main Challenges for Tourism Security in the Continent."

The convention will address relevant topics to the tourism industry, such as public policy, development of programs based on protecting destinations, tourism businesses and visitors.

Admission to the event is completely free of charge and will take place in the Atlapa Convention Center.
