New craft market for La Chorrera

The mayor of La Chorrera, Temístocles Herrera, estimates that in April work could begin on the district's new craft market.

The project, which was proposed a year ago and comes with a $500,000 prize tag, will be situated on the lot facing the City Hall.

There will be space for 49 local artisans in the 294 square meter and two story high building. “The idea is to bring all the artisans, who currently work in food and public markets, together in one place,” says the mayor.
