Orillac, as representative of Panama, served as the temporary president of integrated Central American tourism and presided over a ceremony organized by Central America Travel America (CATA).
Together with ATP Marketing Director Nixia Lasso, Orillac has additionally held numerous meetings with companies like Mucho Viaje, Viajes Barceló, TV Madrid, TV Española, Pullmantur, and Copa Airlines.
The ATP is joined by twenty Panamanian companies at their stand in the FITUR fair in Madrid, Spain. They will be highlighting the 100th anniversary of the Panama Canal during the tourist event, which runs from January 22nd to the 26th.
As one of the world's leading tourist meetings, this fair boasts impressive figures: 9,000 companies from 167 countries will exhibit and the astronomical number of 116,157 professionals will attend. Panama will be represented at its pavilion in the Americas section.
The Panamanian stand measures 296 square meters, with an additional 36 square-meter upper floor. Identifiable by its symbol of a colorful butterfly on a black background, the area includes sites appropriate for business meetings with participating companies that are equipped with internet and a stage for the Carnival Queen, dancers, women in pollera costumes, and representatives of the ethnic Guna and Emberáindigenous groups that will accompany the delegation.
