Soná prepares to party

Everything is ready for the 18th Soná Fair in Veraguas to be inaugurated on Friday, February 14th.

This year the event will bring together exhibitors from private enterprise, government institutions, and other businesses, who will exhibit their varied services and products amongst more than 300 display modules.

The fair will have four princesses, each representing the districts of San Francisco, Soná, Atalaya, and Calobré.

Engineer Iván De Ycaza, President of the 2014 Soná Fair, invited the Panamanian public to enjoy 10 days of family-friendly activities.

The fair will feature Amazona horse competition, a performance of Shrek the musical, exhibitions of Colombian and Andalusian paso fino horses, cattle competition, lasso and rodeo contests, cock fights, and for those who like to dance, evening entertainment with singing, soirées, and traditional and contemporary dances.
