These games will be held on March 15 and 16 at the Rod Carew National Stadium, as a tribute to the Panamanian retired baseball pitcher Mariano Rivera.
Rivera retired in September 2013 as the top closer in the Major Leagues, with 652 saves.
Show Pro and Magic Dream each made the announcement on their Twitter accounts.
"Be part of The Legend Series on March 15 and 16! The Yankees and Marlins will face off at Rod Carew. Stay tuned for more information. #MLBPanama #HistoryConcludesAtHome," they tweeted at @showpropanama and @magicdreamsinc.
The event promotion companies, who have come together for this event, also announced that tickets will be on sale soon.
The Yankees and Marlins will slug it out on Saturday, March 15th at 8 pm, while that Sunday's game is slated to start at 1 pm.
Rod Carew Stadium is currently being remodeled and will first reopen its doors for this event that will put the spotlight on organized baseball in Panama.
