Charter flight arrives in Panama

On its first flight to Panama, a Sunwing aircraft landed at 10:50 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Scarlett Martinez airport in Río Hato, located in the province of Coclé, with 174 Canadian passengers aboard.

As the plane landed on the runway, it was greeted with an arch of water to welcome them to Panama.

In a very folkloric context, President of the Republic Ricardo Martinelli and the Sub Administrator of the Panama Tourism Authority, Ernesto Orillac, performed the welcoming ceremony to celebrate the charter's arrival, which will be one of the opportunities and strategies for growth in the tourism sector of this area of the country's interior.
