Panama attends Incentive Works in Toronto

Vice Minister of Tourism, Jennifer Champsur, Destination Marketing Representative Diwigdi Valiente, and Astrid Quirós visited Toronto, Canada from August 19th - 20th to attend the Incentive Works Show in Toronto. 

During their two day hectic visit to Toronto, Vice Minister Jennifer Champsur met with leisure travel trade, media, airlines, tour operators, and the groups, meetings and incentive markets to discuss new tourism developments and reflected on the positive growth in Panama from Canada.

Panama´s main focus in the Canadian market will be geared towards the travel trade, airlines and meeting and incentive market to develop strong effective relationships and sales initiatives to increase Canadian visitation.

With direct nonstop service to Panama offered by Air Canada, Copa Airlines, Sunwing and Air Transat getting to the sub tropical destination couldn´t be easier for Canadians. 

Panama is a culturally diverse country, yet modern and sophisticated with a stunning blue coast line and shimmering skyscrapers. The expansion of the Panama Canal has the city booming with tourism. Construction is underway to add a new convention center and subway by 2015.
