TRADITION

A WEALTH OF CULTURE OF CULTURE FULL OF MUSIC AND COLOR.

Panama is a multiracial, multicultural society, a fascinating display of the richness of culture that comes from diversity in harmony. The Kuna, Embera, Wounan, Gnöbe, Bugle, Bri-Bri and Naso people preserve their customs and traditions, including their interesting native languages. Come be amazed by the variety of colorful folk attire, their traditional music and dance, the Carnival celebrations and the fusion called música típica.

Some of these groups live in communities near the city, offering you the opportunity to come into contact with these indigenous American people and their Pre-Columbian past. Others live in large areas in regional territories around the country.
