Synopsis: The world's most famous musical finally comes to Panama. Set in France in the early 19th century, "Les Misérables" tells the story of Jean Valjean, an ex-convict of extraordinary strength who seeks redemption after serving nineteen years in prison for stealing a loaf of bread.
Unable to find honest work because of his past, Valjean decides to break parole and start a new life under an assumed identity inspired by a kind-hearted bishop, while enduring the relentless persecution of inspector Javert over the years.
Along the way, Valjean and a number of characters get tangled in the revolution of a group of young students fighting for their ideals on the streets of Paris. Sung by a cast with our country's best voices, "Les Miserables" will undoubtedly be the show of the year in the musical genre.
