It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city of Panama, conserving its neocolonial architecture almost intact despite its many years. Parque Urraca (a park with basketball courts, a soccer field, and a baseball diamond), Calle Uruguay (a zone with many restaurants, bars and clubs), and the banking district or Area Bancaria (the financial center of the country) are located here. Calle Uruguay is a great option to get some great food or some drinks 7 nights a week. There are local choices as well as international restaurant chains to choose from.
