The Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán was declared a national historical monument in 1926. It is distinguished by having beautiful altars or colonial altarpieces where stylized motifs abound in the form of fruits such as pomegranates and flowers, sunflowers and other details that simulate lace in an excellent and fine polychrome wood carving with gold paint. The majority of baroque style churrigueresco of century XVIII, and whose sculpture manifests the catholic symbolism.
